Do not include lures for other target species in the trap when trapping for this target.
The length of effectiveness of this lure may be reduced in very hot climates. In these environments, lures may need to be changed every four weeks instead of every six weeks.
Morphological. Adults have hairy eyes (as do all Hadeninae) which can be seen even in sticky trap material. Forward any specimens with hairy eyes to your regional domestic identifier for identification.

Not present in the U.S.: Orthosia gothica has been caught in Pannolis flammea traps in the UK. This species is similar in size but is grey in color instead of orangish-brown like P. flammea.
