Hoary Alyssum (Berteroa incana) is an invasive plant. It is a native of Europe and was first detected in Washington in 1969.
Berteroa incana grows from a deep taproot and is an annual, biennial or short-lived perennial herbaceous plant with alternate, simple gray-green leaves.This is a toxic plant in Brassicacae family. It causes hemolytic anemia and hemoglobinuria in ruminants and laminitis and abortion in horses.
