Coconut rhinoceros beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) is an insect pest. It is a native of Southeast Asia and was first detected in Guam in 2007.

The rhinoceros beetle is common in Southeast Asia and has long been one of the most serious problems among coconut growers worldwide. The beetle feeds on palm shoots and can destroy young plants.
