Heterodera goettingiana

Pea cyst nematode (Heterodera goettingiana) is a nematode pest of Pea, bean, and vetch. It is a native of Europe and Russia and was first detected in Washington in 1993.

This nematode causes reduced root growth, water stress, suppression of nitrogen-fixing nodules,and yellow foliage.
