Locust leafminer

Odontota dorsalis

Locust leafminer (Odontota dorsalis) is an insect pest of Black Locust. It is a native of United States,southern Canada, Europe, and Asia and was first detected in Maryland in 1984.

Adults skeletonize and eat holes in the leaves. Larvae mine the tissue between the upper and lower-leaf surface.
