Brown spruce longhorned beetle (Tetropium fuscum) is an insect pest of pine trees. It is a native of Europe and was first detected in Mississippi in 2022.

Currently found only in Nova Scotia, Canada. This is just one of many forest pests that are moved to un-infested forests by humans moving firewood. Help protect our forests: don't move firewood!
