European flower thrips
Frankliniella intonsa European flower thrips (Frankliniella intonsa) is an insect pest. It is a native of Asia and was first detected in Washington. This thrip is a pest of cut flowers and vegetable crops and is an efficient vector of tomato spotted wilt virus It can also transmit tomato chlorotic spot virus, groundnut ring spot virus and impatiens necrotic spot virus. |
