Leatherleaf slugs
Veronicellidae spp. Leatherleaf slugs (Veronicellidae spp.) is a mollusk pest. The Veronicellidae, common name the leatherleaf slugs, are a taxonomic family of tropical and subtropical air-breathing land slugs, shell-less terrestrial gastropod mollusks. Veronicellid slugs are herbivores that occur mainly in the tropical and subtropical areas of America, Asia and Africa. They also act as intermediate hosts of the rat lung worm Angiostrongylus costaricensis. .
