Sclerophthora rayssiae var. zeae Brown stripe downy mildew (Sclerophthora rayssiae var. zeae) is a fungal pathogen of maize. It is a native of India. This disease only causes leaf lesions on the plant. The lower leaves will have the greatest amount of striping.
