Asiatic Witchweed (Ww) (Striga asiatica) is a parasitic plant of corn, sorghum, sugar cane and rice crops. It is a native of Africa and was first detected in North Carolina and South Carolina in 1955.

Obtains nutrients directly from host's root system.
