Pale Potato-cyst Nematode (Globodera pallida) is a nematode pest of potatoes and tomatoes. It is a native of South America and was first detected in Idaho.

The Idaho infestation is under eradication. If not controled this nematode may cause significant yield reductions and export exclusion. The USDA and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have established guidelines for trade that address G. palida infestations.
