Poinciana looper (Pericyma cruegeri) is an insect pest of Poinciana Trees. It is a native of Australia and Asia and was first detected in Guam in 1971.

The voracious appetite of this pest defoliates the poinciana tree, an ornamental tree known for its brilliant red and yellow flowers.
