Black Parlatoria scale (Parlatoria ziziphi) is an insect pest of Citrus. It was first detected in Hawaii in 1898.

Heavy infestations cause premature senescence and leaf drop, reducing productivity. The species has become the most important pest of Citrus in Egypt.
