Cucurbit Beetle (Diabrotica speciosa ) is an insect pest of corn, potato, grape, bean and soybean crops. It is a native of South America.

Larvae of this pest feed on roots of the host crops while adults will feed on the leaves, stems, etc. of the host plant.

This insect pest has been identified by USDA-APHIS as a serious threat to US Agriculture and Natural Resources, and surveys have been planned for multiple states.
