Plum Pox (Potyvirus plum pox virus) is a viral pathogen of stone fruit trees. It is a native of Europe and was first detected in Pennsylvania in 1999.
Spread by aphids.
This viral pathogen has been identified by USDA-APHIS as a serious threat to US Agriculture and Natural Resources, and surveys have been planned for multiple states.
